L'Oreal Beauty and the Beast Limited Edition Lipsticks

You would only need to take one look at my make-up collection to be well aware that I am a lipstick addict. As soon as I saw that L'Oreal were launching matching lipsticks and nail polishes, for the upcoming remake of Disney's Beauty and the Beast film, I knew I had to pick something up as it was limited edition (and because I'm a sucker for beautiful packaging..)

Logically I thought I don't actually own a bright red lipstick that isn't matte or in fact a liquid lipstick so I picked up Belle, and Lumiere which is a orange toned dark nude. I mean who doesn't want another nude lipstick to add to their ever-growing collection.. At the time, I was in 'panic buy' mode thinking they would instantly sell out and didn't realise how pretty the Enchanted Rose shade was until after I had clicked buy so I really wish I had that in my collection as well. L'Oreal's actual shade name for the lipstick dedicated to Belle's character is 'Perfect Red' which is exactly what it is. A bright red statement lipstick which I would pair with warm natural eyes/winged eyeliner and my makeup would be complete. 'Sepia Silk' is the shade name for Lumiere and is one if them perfect dark nude lipsticks that would go with any kind of makeup look.

Both of these lipsticks are from L'Oreal's colour riche lipstick range which claim to be smudge-proof with intense colour. When swatching there was a noticeable difference of pigmentation, Belle was way more pigmented and matte than Lumiere, which was more creamy and had more of a shine.

I have swatched both lipsticks but there are 7 limited edition shades in total, dedicated to characters such as Mrs. Potts, the Beast and many others. However, you can only buy these lipsticks on amazon.it which is the Italian version of Amazon, but don't be put off if you decide to buy these as mine arrived within 4 days of purchasing them! They are on offer for €9.99 which is £8.55 in GBP, which isn't bad considering they are limited edition. After checking the website over the past couple of days they do keep coming back in and out of stock, so even if they are currently sold out and you are wanting to get your hands on them, keep checking!

What shades do you have? Or if you don't have any, let me know if they're on your wishlist!
